You can add your own experiences here about how the writings, talks and companionship of Sheikh Syed Iqbal Zaheer has shaped your own understanding of your faith and the world around you.

The ink has not dried, yet the hand has returned to its Lord.

Today, we do not mourn the silence of Syed Iqbal Zaheer —
for his words still breathe between pages,
still echo in minds that sought truth through his light.

He walked a path few dare to tread —
where intellect met faith,
where reason bowed, not in defeat,
but in understanding.

He did not seek crowds,
nor did he chase applause.
Like a quiet lamp in a vast night,
he illuminated hearts — unseen, yet deeply felt.

And now, that lamp has been lifted
from this fleeting world
to a realm where knowledge is no longer sought…
but witnessed.

We grieve, yes —
for the voice that taught gently,
for the pen that wrote sincerely.
But greater than grief is gratitude —
for a life spent in pursuit of truth,
for a legacy that will outlive time.

May his grave be filled with نور,
his questions answered with mercy,
and his مقام raised among those
who lived for knowledge and returned with it.

For some leave behind wealth,
others leave behind names —
but he left behind understanding.

And that… never dies.
